Steve Deak, previously a QiGong instructor at the Wellness and Total Learning Center, is now offering his classes at the Harbor-Topky Memorial Library.
QiGong (pronounced "chee gong"), also known as "Meditation in Motion," is one of the martial arts. It is a system of exercises similar to Tai Chi.
 

QiGong differs from Tai Chi with the exercises being done one-by-one, rather than continuously. It has the same benefits as Tai Chi, but is much easier to learn requiring mere weeks to learn as opposed to many months.
Classes are offered in two sessions:
Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m., and
Thursdays at 5:00 p.m.
Classes will continue at the library until spring.
No registration necessary. The classes are free, but donations will be accepted for the Harbor Topky Friends of the Library.
