Beginning Monday, July 27th, the Harbor-Topky Memorial Library will allow a limited number of patrons to browse the library or use the computers. Presently, the library is only allowing two patrons in the library at select times. Masks are required to enter the library. No-contact holds pick up will also continue.
The library will be open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., then reopen 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. The library will be closed between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. for disinfecting. Q. I have items due. How can I renew them?
A. You can renew any item that does not have existing holds (excluding wifi hotspots) over the phone or online using the library’s catalog.
Q. I'm done with my items. Can I return them?
A. Yes, items (including DVDs) may be returned in our book drop.
Q. I have a hold available. Can I pick it up?
A. Yes, the library will notify you when you have a hold available. You can reserve a time to either pick the item up in the library or with a no-contact holds pick up in the library parking lot.
Q. How do you do a no-contact holds pickup?
A. After you receive your call from the library that your holds are ready, you can proceed to the library’s parking lot. From there, call the library at (440) 964-9645. A staff member will retrieve your hold and bring it to your car. Staff members will leave the holds for you in your trunk.
Q. What if my items are in-transit?
A. Statewide delivery has resumed, but the courier is still working on the backlog of items.
Q. What if I want to place a hold?
A. You can place a hold over the phone or online using the library’s catalog. For best results, please select items that are readily available at Harbor-Topky Memorial Library.
Q. Will other library services, such as internet access, faxing, or copying be available?
A. These services are available by appointment.
